We have reviewed the Supplementary Levy Program following the appointment of our sole claims agent, Employers Mutual, and recent legislative changes transferring the State’s responsibility for administering occupational health and safety from WorkCover to SafeWork SA.
Major changes are:
- Employers that are identified as having a poor claims performance will no longer have a suspended supplementary levy.
- WorkCover will no longer provide occupational health and safety and injury management consultancy services to employers.
The Supplementary Levy Program is currently under review and is expected to be finalised on completion of the legislative review.
